Today was our Metro Mod Guild meeting in NYC.
It was fabulous, and there were lots more people there than usual.
All the more fun I say!
And I must thank the lovely Victoria for once again opening her home
to all of us wild ladies.
Here is one of our group quilts all quilted up.
This was the 1/4 square curve.
Mayann and her lovely red and white.
You can't really see it here, but the center is all beads.
Spectacular.
Victoria's 15 min play BOM.
Gotta love the cheddar yellow!
Jackie's amazing paper pieced star . . .
She said she has four more rounds to go.
The girl has patience!
Helen's Block
Diane's scrappy quilt.
Use up those scraps!
Chris's very colorful wonky log cabins.
Great colors!
Jessica is hand quilting this beauty!
Another patient gal.
Jody's pastel Kaffe, the colors positively pop.
Earamichia's swag bag.
Bernadette's quilt . . . "This is was fat looks like."
Apparently this the chromosome for fat.
Totally fabulous.
Mary's rendition of a painting that she loves.
Seriously, there are a million pieces in that small quilt
Here are our challenge blocks for the Cherrywood Collection
They hadn't been arranged yet, and I can't wait to see how that comes out!
After the meeting, Bambi, Ellen, David, Mayann, Kendall
and I did a little fabric shopping.
We end up at City Quilter of course.
All in all, a banner day for quilters!
We laughed, we ate and we bought fabric.
It doesn't get any better than that!
