You may call me Madam President! . . . hehehehe

Yesterday was the April meeting for our NYC Metro Mod Guild.
It is always such fun to see what everyone is working on,
and sit around and chat and giggle!

Yesterday was also the day to vote for two new Board members,
Victoria and Earamichia are stepping down after years
of tremendous service.
So guess what?!?
David and I were voted on the Board!
David as Secretary, and me as President!

How fun is that!
I'm so glad that Victoria and Earamichia aren't going anywhere,
first of all because they are so much fun,
and second of all because we'll need their support!
Looking forward to a year of great fun with this wonderful group.

So here are a few shots of eye candy from the meeting's show and tell.

A Granny Square Quilt

English Paper Piecing Quilt

Pineapple Quilt

Log Cabin Quilt

Margaret had a bee block dropped off to her . .
Isn't this fun?  Just love it!

And I have been working on my second bag,
trying to take pictures of each step so that I can
share the pattern and tutorial.

I'm really hoping to have that this week.

So there you have it.
Another fun weekend; hope you had fun too.

  1. Congratulations, Lisa. You're an excellent choice for president and will do a great job I'm sure. I've had to miss the last three meetings but do hope to be at the June meeting to congratulate you in person.
