I haven't been slacking off . . . . really I haven't!

I know I haven't been posting, and just that's because
I don't really have much fun stuff to show yet.

I did finish my last color challenge blocks today.
And thank goodness just in time, I ran out of the blue background fabric!
Now to start working on my settings,
I have some fun ideas, let's see if they transfer to the sewing.

I have also been working on a quilt that's a secret.
I have been working on it since January and am very pleased,
but I can't show it yet . . .  Cheeky of me right?
I spent the better part of this week picking all the paper out of the back.

And I have been chopping up scraps for my string quilt.
Lots of little pieces!  Yeah!
Now I can really get back to my sewing machine.
Just pick and sew.

What have you been working on this week??

  1. I've been working on not killing my husband or any board members. At the same time, still plugging away on the afghan for my future sister-in-law who is really already my sister-in-law, but I don't think everybody knows that. Anyway, last night, I found a missed directed cable crossing. After some consultation, I'm leaving it in as a design element. It's pretty far back, so I may duplicate stitch over it to mask it, but I'm not tinking or dropping down to fix it.
